A local resident group, Los Osos Emergency Coalition, has been formed in conjunction with those that have been volunteering on-site to help residents that have been affected by the flooding from the January weather event.
The Coalition is working on a providing one place that residents can go for all the information needed to help navigate the various entities at this time, as well as provide information on how the Community can volunteer or donate to help in the efforts.
If you are a resident that was affected by the flooding from the January weather event and need help, please email email@example.com or call 805-540-1539. No ask is too small, please let the Coalition know what you need.
Volunteering – If you are interested in Volunteering please email firstname.lastname@example.org. When you email, please let the Coalition know your schedule. If you want to volunteer to do something specific, or if you have a specific skill set that might aid in the recovery in addition to being a volunteer, please let them know in that email.
Monetary Donations – Information on how to make Monetary donations will be coming soon.
In-Kind Donations – If you are interested in making in-Kind donations, please email email@example.com. When you email, please let the Coalition know if you are willing to store your donation until there is a need for the item. It may be too early for some in-kind donations while repairs are being done.
Digging deep fundraiser distribution.
The LOEC is currently gathering and looking over all the needs of those impacted and discussing how best to distribute funds. They plan to start distribution on April 21st.
